Climate Action 100+ brings together 225 large institutional investors representing more than 26 trillion dollars in assets. The European Green New Deal is mobilising around 15 trillion dollars of green investment, Germany has announced 100 billion euros by 2030, and China will add as much renewable capacity as the EU and the United States combined over the next 20 years. This wave will drive significant change across many sectors, with winners and losers.
The certificate selects companies committed to a socially and environmentally responsible ecosystem, active in particular in renewable energy, mobility, waste management, recycling and pharmaceuticals. Environmental, social and governance criteria are built into the process, with sectors such as weapons and fossil fuels excluded.
